A consultation meeting was organized on legal framework about force conversion in CLAAS office on September 7, 2016. CLAAS staff from legal department shared about the case studies of force conversion of minor girls from religious minorities. CLAAS lawyers shared the nonexistence of laws and loop holes in the present laws related to marriage and conversion of Christian and Hindi girls. In the light of discussion recommendations were formed to present at national level.
