When human rights defenders are silenced, who will stand up for the rights of all?

On International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearances (August 30) CLAAS stand against Enforced Disappearance in Pakistan. Enforced disappearance is one of the worst human rights violations. It has a devastating impact on the victim, their family, friends and society in general. It is not a crime of the past, It is practiced by governments in every region, and in many countries is increasing.
