Pastor Shahbaz Barkat from Gujranwala, sustained a gunshot wound while returning home, and an FIR has been registered against an unidentified individual. Subsequently, one Muhammad Adnan Chatha was arrested by the police as a suspect in the case. CLAAS visited Pastor Shahbaz and met with the investigating officer to ascertain whether the incident was linked to religious hostility or a targeted attack. While the preliminary assessment suggests the matter may involve a robbery, the final conclusion will be reached after the completion of the investigation.
